What is this mystery game?
Unsolved Science is a challenging cooperative tabletop mystery game for 1-4 players. But instead of locks and puzzles, in this mystery, science IS the game mechanic.
Perform real experiments. Analyze weird data. Become the scientist to figure out why a mysterious object could spell disaster for the world.
You don’t need a PhD to play! Bring your adult (or teenage) brain and get ready to experience some great ‘aha’ moments.

What's in the box?
As you open the mystery game box, you are presented with game instructions and a letter from the head of NASA…uh, I mean NOSO (National Outer Space Office). A science-based mystery awaits involving a coveted mysterious object!
To solve the mystery, you must perform a series of 3 Investigations in order. Each of the 3 included Investigation envelopes contains a variety of challenges called Experiments. These include performing actual experimentation with physical objects, analyzing charts, pouring over photos, scrutinizing videos, amongst other things.
As you go through each Investigation, you’re given questions to answer. Some of the questions are straightforward but some of the questions require you to DIG DEEP into the science and really give your brain cells a workout.
After each investigation, you open the Answer envelope to see how well you did. But not so fast! We don’t give you the answers to those DIG DEEP questions.
At the end of the 3 Investigations, you go online to complete your report that you fill out using information gathered from the DIG DEEP questions. No sentence writing involved; we promise. Based on how well your report is received, you gain access to 1 of 4 different endings.

Do I need to be a science wiz to play?
No! Unsolved Science is a mystery game for all adults – those who live and breathe science and those who don’t. The only assumption made is that maybe you remember a bit of high school science. But don’t worry if you don’t. Our goal is to make science accessible and show just how much fun it can be to solve science-based problems.
But you might ask “Don’t I need scientific knowledge to figure out the science mysteries?” No worries. We provide you with a custom search engine that holds all the scientific knowledge you need to solve the mysteries before you. All search engine entries are written in an accessible and non-overwhelming way. You won’t need textbooks or Google to help you figure out what’s going on.
